The Youth Advisory Board is made up of graduates from the YWAR program. Our general mission is to "Get The Word Out" on issues that affect teens the most.
What's unique about the Youth Advisory is that each school has the opportunity to create their own goals and activities! Basically, we want you to take the lead, and get started on a project that you feel is important.
Did you know that teens are some of the best individuals to get the word out? It is because you girls really know what going on in the community!
And we want to hear what you have to say.....
This year, both Wooden H.S. and Independence H.S developed their own teen-friendly workshops on Teen Dating Violence. Many of our members also gave back to the program by volunteering at our Healthy Relationship Conference!
